Almost 200 homes tipped for towns edge
Almost 200 homes could be constructed on the edge of a Nottinghamshire town after the plans were recommended for approval.Gleeson Regeneration is behind the scheme which would see 198 houses built on land west of Crown Farm Way, Forest Town, Mansfield.The district council’s planning committee is set to make a decision on the application, which relates to a 16-acre site used for agriculture, at a meeting on Monday 11 February.If approval is granted a total of 56 two-bedroom, 125 three-bedroom and 17 four-bedroom homes will be constructed.The proposals were first submitted to the authority in August 2017.
